Dear WA Cougar parents and guardians - 

First off all, I want to say thank you for partnering in educating your child.. The involvement and commitment of our families is commendable. We feel supported by you. Washington Elementary is a PBIS school - positive behavior intervention and supports school. Teachers and staff have been teaching expected behaviors and positively encouraging, noticing and praising expected behavior. Teachers give students a PAW when they notice expected behavior. On Friday morning we announce the names of students who won the PAW drawing for the week. We end each day with a Cougar Compliment. Each month we have a team building activity called Camp Cougar. We have many positive supports in place to support your child learn and grow. 

Please join me on Friday, September 26th at 8:00am  in the Library for our first Coffee Chat of the year. This is a platform for me to share our school goals and collect input from you. During the meeting we will also discuss our Title I parent involvement plan.
