Dear Parents and Guardians,

We’re kicking off the week by showing love and appreciation for our wonderful teachers and staff. A long-standing tradition at Washington is for students to bring a flower to their teachers and staff members. Each staff member has a vase, and throughout the week, students can add to it. It can be as simple as a flower from your yard—it's the thought that counts!

If your family plans to attend Washington Elementary next year, please complete the returning student registration in PowerSchool. This must be done each year, and students will not be placed on a class list until the registration is complete. If you need assistance, feel free to stop by the office.

Our lost and found is overflowing! One helpful way to prevent items from going missing is to write your child’s name on their jackets and hoodies. Mornings are chilly, and by afternoon recess, many kids are shedding layers and leaving sweatshirts outside.
