Dear Parents and Guardians,

Student Led Conferences are coming up quickly, THIS YEAR'S STUDENT LED CONFERENCES WILL BE FRIDAY, MARCH 14TH. Your child (ren) have already been preparing for your visit! 

When you come for STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES, your child will share his or her carefully selected work with you. This is a non-student day - you will come visit the school with your child for your student-led conference on this day. When you arrive, you will accompany your child to his or her classroom. Your child will guide you through the conference and show you examples of his or her work from this school year. This conference varies from a traditional parent-teacher conference in that your student will lead you through the process. This conference is an opportunity for you to connect with your child and celebrate his or her growth through the school year up until this point. We look forward to seeing you. Please, save this date and make it a priority to come to Student Led Conferences with your child. 

March is a great time to prioritize school and academics. PLEASE make attendance a priority. We need kids here for learning to happen.

March 21st is our Cougar Community Connection event. If you are able to help, please reach out to your child's teacher. We would love to have you. 

Spring is in the air and I love the joy that I see from our students daily. Yesterday kids were floating wood chips in the puddles. Washington Cougars play outside and outerwear is still recommended to keep clothes dry and clean.
