Happy New Year, Washington Families,

I hope your winter break was full of joy, excitement and outdoor adventures. My family and I made the best of the poor snowpack and got lots of days of skiing in! Thank you for the notes of love, gifts and treats that you showered teachers and staff  with for Christmas! 

Beginning next week, students in grades 3–6 will begin taking their MAP assessments in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math.

Please do your best to ensure your child is present on the days their class is testing. Teachers will share specific testing dates through their classroom newsletters. Being present allows students to test in their regular classroom with their peers, rather than in a make-up setting, which helps set them up for the best possible success.

MAP assessments measure academic growth and progress from the beginning of the school year and provide valuable insight into how we can best support your child academically.
