Home of the Cougars!!

Washington Elementary School is optimally located in south Sandpoint, Idaho near Lake Pend Oreille, city parks and businesses. Our school is truly a learning community with students in Kindergarten through grade six. 

Our neighborhood school of 295 students hosts two teachers for each grade level (except our three 4/5 combo classes) and one teacher for two sessions of Kindergarten, AM and PM. 

The staff of 26 personnel dedicates themselves to the success of each child. 

Everything about Washington School says, "Welcome!” 

Our mission is to assist and empower students to reach their full potential in a safe environment.
