Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope your spring break was refreshing and filled your bucket, providing quality time with your child. As we enter the final quarter of the school year, time will surely fly by! We have many exciting events ahead, including the Jog-a-Thon starting on April 14th, which will run for 4 weeks.

However, we also have our end-of-year state testing approaching. We want to ensure that your child is able to do their very best and showcase all they've learned this year. Starting April 15th, we will begin ISAT testing for students in 3rd through 6th grade. It’s crucial that your child is present on their scheduled testing day, as their own classroom offers the best environment for success. Teachers will communicate the specific testing dates for each class.

To help your child prepare, please ensure they have a healthy breakfast, a nutritious snack, and a good night’s sleep before their testing day. If you would like to contribute healthy snacks during testing, we would greatly appreciate your support!

If you are planning on attending Washington Elementary next year please complete your returning student registration in Powerschool. This is something you need to complete each year. Your child will not be placed on a class list until it is complete. If you need help, stop by the office.
